Motivation:
Do you think of it purely as ‘can I be bothered training, hmm maybe, maybe not’, or maybe ‘is my willpower strong enough to resist that chocolate bar or bag of chips’, OR do you think about it as something that effects every part of your daily life??
Like, doing that filing that’s sat there for months, cleaning out the garage, or in my case, noticing amongst all the junk that WAS on my pantry floor, that mould had started growing and me not really noticing it (don’t judge me
).
Is it the ability to wake up to your alarm, or baby alarm, jump out of bed and have a spring in your step, ready to kick arse?
Is it the ability to want to move in your body that day, knowing you’ll feel better for it?
Is it getting dressed up and going out on a date night with your partner, not because you want them to find you attractive, but because you feel great about yourself and want to show that confidence (which can be so attractive in itself)?
Do you want to choose the best food options for yourself, not because you’re always trying to loose weight, but actually, just because you want to feel good within your body?
Is it taking the children out for a bike ride or tramp, not because you’re always trying to impart your motivation on your kids, and want them to be fit, or is it because it’s just so awesome to be outside, exploring nature, and having fun together, without the distractions of our phones, work, housework etc?
All of these are part of our daily motivation, and all of these things help to create an overall picture of improved motivation throughout our lives, which then in turn DOES help to improve our health, fitness and well being, because it’s all just another cog in our machine.
If we turn 1, then we turn 2 then we can turn so many more!!
So my challenge to you.
What are YOU going to do THIS WEEK, to help yourself feel motivated and on top of your life, and the world????
Mine was spending 2 1/2 hours to clean my pantry, cleaning my office and doing my filing so I can actually get back in there to work, restarting my training and getting back into a routine.
Work out what is your goal, or the top priority on your to do list, and make it happen for yourself, NO MATTER WHAT, (it could even be a lunch date with a friend or a massage!), then post a pics of accomplised goal on Instagram and hash tag them with #naomieunsonpt and #achievingmygoals
